Event QR code generator: add to calendar

Make an event QR code that adds your event's name, time and place to the phone's calendar. For openings, launches and classes.

What it does

An event QR code holds a calendar entry: the event name, start and end time and the place. Scanning it offers to add the event to the phone's calendar.

It is a static code, so the details live inside the code and can't be changed after printing. For an event page you may update, use a Website code instead.

Questions people ask

Which time zone does it use?

The time is saved as written, without a time zone, so it appears at that local time on the phone. That suits events people attend in person.

Can I change the date after printing?

No. Event codes are static; a new date needs a new code.

Does it work on iPhone and Android?

Phones read calendar codes with their camera or a scanner app; support varies by phone and app.
